Shabbat at Nigun Halev
At Nigun Halev, we aim to give Shabbat and holidays real meaning,
so that they do not pass by as if they were taken for granted,
to fill them with taste and build a “small sanctuary” for them.
Kabbalat Shabbat
The Beating Heart of the Community
The Nigun Halev community holds Kabbalat Shabbat every Friday evening at 18:00.
Kabbalat Shabbat brings melodies that are sung from the soul, transitioning from the weekdays to the spiritual rest of Shabbat.
The Shabbat at Nigun Halev draws from the traditions of generations, Hebrew songs, and the spirit of the Emek.
Kabbalat Shabbat includes:
-
Songs and melodies from prayer and Hebrew culture
-
Short uplifting words on the weekly Torah portion, relevant to our lives
-
Lighting personal candles with blessings for children and their parents
-
Mentioning names of people needing healing or support in moments of crisis
Kabbalat Shabbat builds a “palace in time,” warms and uplifts hearts,
deepens community connections, and brings meaning to the weekdays as well.
Kabbalat Shabbat is open to everyone
you are warmly invited!
