Young Families

Family Shabbat
The Nigun Halev community is a multi-generational community,
aiming to be a home for both young and old.
As a community of families, we seek to create a spiritual and ceremonial language
that connects Jewish tradition with Israeli culture within a framework of equality and openness.

Our Kabbalat Shabbat gatherings provide a space where children can participate
and contribute to the experience of singing and melodies,
or create and draw at the children’s table.
Children are regularly invited to the candle table to bless and be blessed
with the Nigun Halev blessing:
"Whoever you are, may you be blessed wherever you are."

Holiday Activities
During the holidays, we hold activities for children such as:

• Playful Megillah readings

• Activities for children on Yom Kippur

• Tashlich ceremonies for families

In addition, the community organizes the “Family Shabbat in the Emek”:
Cultural activities at the community house and outdoors

• Performances and storytelling for children

• Jewish-Arab meetings

• Building a sukkah and more
